Better Ways of Delivering Care

We are hopeful that through the Hospital Improvement Plan (HIP) submission to the LHIN, we will find better ways of delivering quality care to our communities and make better use of all of our resources.

In developing our submission to the LHIN, we analyzed Niagara’s health care needs and looked to evidence-based research and trends in health-care delivery.

The submission we developed creates a vision for the future delivery of patient services across all seven NHS sites.

As part of the submission, we identified community health investments that will help ease pressures currently being experienced by our hospitals. These investments could include supportive housing, home care, rehabilitation, and primary health-care.
