Vision Details

To thoroughly understand the many proposals in our Hospital Improvement Plan, it is important to know that the facts and rationale. For years and in some cases, decades, many types of hospital programs offered in Niagara have not changed. We all know some changes in the future will be necessary, as the status quo is no longer sustainable for a number of reasons.

To better explain the current status of several of our key programs and our vision for the future of these programs, we have put together a series of Information Sheets. We know Niagara residents are keenly interested in the future of obstetric and paediatric care, the plans for better mental health services, the changing needs among our aging population for hospital and health services, the centres of excellence planned for surgical services, the need for a comprehensive transportation network in Niagara, and much more.
